Archive Marine helps boat owners keep a clear, organized service history for their vessels. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have.
What we collect
- Account details: the name and email address you use to sign in.
- Vessel details: the boats you add to your account, including names, make, model, and service notes.
- Service records: the invoices, receipts, and service entries you create or scan into the app.
How we use your data
- To build and maintain your vessel's service history and spending breakdowns.
- To read key details (service, date, price) from invoices you upload and save the invoice with the service record.
- To let you export your own history (spreadsheets, printable guides, vessel snapshots).
- We never sell your data, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train AI models.
Where your data lives
- Your data is stored in our secured cloud database, protected so only you (and, where you explicitly share it, a boat owner you have transferred to) can see it.
- Invoice files you upload are stored privately in cloud storage tied to your account.
Who can see your data
- Only you. If you transfer ownership of a vessel to another account, that owner takes over the vessel's records and those records move with the vessel.
- Service providers you request work from see only what is needed to complete that request.
- Our staff can access data only to support you, and only when you ask for help.
Your controls
- Delete any service record, invoice, or recurring charge from your account at any time.
- Delete your entire account from the dashboard. Your vessel records are preserved as part of the vessel's history but are no longer tied to your personal account.
Data retention
- We keep your service history for as long as your account is active so your records stay useful.
- When you delete your account, your personal details are removed. Vessel records may remain attached to the vessel for its next owner.
Changes to this policy
- If we make material changes we will update this page and, when practical, notify you in the app.
